The difference between a master (or in the case of who has inspired today’s sharing, a 2-time world record holder in box jump) and a beginner  is that the master has failed more times than the beginner has tried.

I am not sure who to credit the quote above too, but wowzers what a simple truth!

Today’s share is to acknowledge and honor all our you out there taking a risk, going for it, falling down, getting back up, and giving it your all once again! And it is also for those that are feeling defeated, not-good enough, and maybe a little hesitant with how you are approaching your life and your goals.

Today I am going to share with you a tool and a meditation that was inspired through me by Ryan Moody, inspirational speaker, 2x world record holder in the box jump and well known athlete for his skills in the Cross Fit community.

I was fortunate enough to participate in a WOD that Ryan Moody coached at Kilauea Cross Fit about 5 weeks back. He taught us how to get the most out of our box jump by using rhythm in our feet at the top of the box to get faster reps banged out. But most importantly he inspired us about the significance of our MIND-SET in being the best possible athlete we can be in our bodies.
