Ingredients for 8 ounce serving:

Local Swiss Chard or Kale-4 large leaves with stem
Kilauea Cucumbers-1/2 of a large one or more if needed
Hawaiian Ginger- to taste, maybe a 1/2″ slice
Local Lemons-1/8-1/4 of a lemon that has been sliced up in sections with skin on
Half an apple
Some sprigs of parsley

Feel free to top with Cayenne pepper too (as pictured above).

Buy local and organic produce.  Wash it up.  Juice everything with skin, stems included.  We find it easiest to juice the “drier” veggies like the ginger and kale first followed by the juicy lemon and cucumber.  This will push all the ginger flavor and green yumminess out of the juicer and into your cup!  Add more cucumber to fill your cup if needed.  Increase ginger if you like it spicy.  More lemon if you like it tart!  Enjoy drinking it right away as the vitamins and nutrients are at their peak 🙂
