Does being social bring up anxiety because you feel that others will say things about what a mess you have become behind your back?
I understand and I have something really important for you to hear today sister.
If you believe losing weight is going to save you from the judgement of others…. you are hallucinating.
In the last few weeks alone I have had people tell me that I am:
– too skinny and to put on some weight
– that my veins make me look like a “tweeker”
– that my 12 year old daughter’s breasts are bigger than mine.
And although I can not argue the last one, I will say this…
No matter where you are in life, people are going to judge you.
People are going to have their opinions and they are going to want to give you their unsolicited advice on what they think is best for you.
Too fat.
Too thin.
Too muscular.
Too veiny.
Too short.
Too tall.
Too loud.
Blah blah blah.
None of that matters.
If you are 30 pounds over weight, people are going to judge you.
If you are in the best shape of your life, people are going to judge you.
I am ok with that.
People can have their opinions but I won’t let it define me.
I get to decide for myself!
My body. My business.
Please understand this my sweet friends who are over weight and feel like others are judging them for the excess they are carrying around….
When you lose the 30 pounds people are STILL going to be judging you! It doesn’t end.
You and only YOU can save yourself from the judgment of others penetrating you.
So lets all do ourselves a great big favor and care less about what other’s think about us, and more about what we think about ourselves.
Because when we are living in alignment to that which is most important to us, when we are living a life we love and walking our talk (which is so far and few), ain’t no one’s rainy day gonna ruin your parade.
Cultivate the ability to stand in the judgement of others with zero fucks. Your opinion of yourself and your body is all that matters. Truly.
