Each day provides a full spectrum of intensity and expression of embodiment. By the end of the week you will experience a deeper intimacy with yourself, a more clear understanding of your body’s optimal blueprint, no muscle will have been untouched, and you will feel deep satisfaction and contentment in from the gifts revealed to you in your daily practices.

You will be challenged, you will have the time to slow it down and nurture your nervous system, understand your alignment and feel your practice in a really exciting way.

Yoga & Fitness Immersion Schedule On Kauai, Hawaii

Day 1: Saturday, July 20th

4:30-5:30 pm*

A basic yoga flow practice that includes lots of thigh and hip opening. A yummy way to ground into all the week has to offer us, sharing breath with the ocean and amazing paradise we live in!

*Location of this class is in Princeville at a private home. Directions shared at time of registration.

Sunday, July 21st – Thursday July 25th

From here on out all practices are in the morning and in the YURT! 8:30-11:00 am Sunday – Wednesday and 7:00-9:15 on Thursday morning.

Each practice from here forward will be a blend of yoga, fitness, pranayama and deep savasana. The week will be appropriate for all-levels, with modifications offered for when we rev into high intensity and high impact variations. On days where we use handweights, you must bring your own. A set of 5 and 8s or 5 and 10s will be good.

Day 2: Sunday, July 21st

Yoga fusion with a focus on muscular energy and organic extension. We will focus on balancing poses and we will refine how to bring balance action into every fitness exercise too. Handstands will be introduced today! Yahoo!
For the fitness aspect of this class we will use our body weight and interval exercises that will tone and strengthen our entire body.
By the end of this practice you will feel connected to your center, energetically expansive, and toned up from head to toe.

Day 3: Monday, July 22nd

Yoga fusion with a focus on inner and outer spiral in the yoga segment of class. Strong standing poses, and yummy hip opening and seated asanas with detail to alignment that will intrinsically open your hips, low back and tone your core. The fitness segments of this practice will focus on high intensity interval cardio challenges, and creative abdominal exercises to strengthen our center.

Day 4: Tuesday, July 23rd

Warm ups will include basic yoga asana, a revisiting to our handstands, and we will refine our upper body alignment that will enhance our posture in EVERYTHING we do. We will take that understanding into our fitness segment of class which will be upper body strength training, using hand weights and a fun string of effective exercises. Now that the body is hot and integrated, our Yoga will focus on heart opening asanas!

Day 5: Wednesday July 24th

Lower body fitness to lift the bootie, tone the hamstrings and make solid our quads using handweights. The yoga segment of practice will include refined understanding of how are hamstrings are designed, splits at the wall, on the floor, and maybe even in inversions. Also, a nice potpourri of asanas will be explored this day too, opening our thighs and hips, twisting, and forward folding.

Day 6: Thursday July 25th

This yoga fusion practice will incorporate handstands and other fun and exciting arm-balances, strong standing poses, and high intensity cardio interval training. Be ready to sweat, to play, to explore and to celebrate the magnificence of having a body!!!
