When I was pregnant I loved sitting in meditation and silently honoring and welcoming my baby.  What a blissful way to connect to, and pour love into, our little one who has not even set foot on this earth yet!

Especially if your pregnancy was an unplanned suprise, this meditation will help transform any negative emotions into positive-for you and your baby!  Even if your pregnancy was 100% planned and welcomed from the start, this inner offering will bless your baby with a deep knowing of unconditional love and support from the very beginning!

Loving Meditation For Baby

Sit in a comfortable position.  It may be best to sit your sit-bones on a folded blanket to slightly elevate your hips so your knees can rest below the height of your hip bones.  Close your eyes and be bathed in the nourishment of your breath moving in and out of your nose.  Place your hands gently around your belly and your baby.  Feel the warmth of your palms and receive that warmth as a blanket of love that honors you and your baby.

Silently let your baby know that he or she is happily welcomed into your family, your life and your womb.  Let her know that she is incredibly special to you and that you feel honored to be her mother.  Become steeped in this blessing you are offering your baby for as long as you wish.  Keep the inner dialogue simple, and let this intention become so potent that you can feel a deep connection to your baby in every cell in your body.  Smile (inside and out) knowing that your baby is being steeped in your unconditional love.
