I am super excited to introduce you to a brand new Hawaiian Lifestyles magazine, just launched here on Kauai: Purple Inc., Thriving With Aloha.
What lights me up about this magazine is that it is the creative vision of two absolutely amazing and talented women (also yogini’s here at Kauai Yoga And Fitness). Keri Cooper and Amanda Baker are following a passionate pull from their hearts to offer Kauai an editorial that honors the beauty of Kauai, inspires locals to try new things right here on our island, and promotes a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. In addition to all that life-affirming goodness, each edition will also include topics on beauty, fashion and blissful beach living.
Purple Inc. will target mostly to women, but I am certain that any man who picks up this magazine will be visually stimulated long enough to flip through the pages in it’s entirety. Gorgeous swim suit models, local artist and restaurant reviews and most likely action surf shots will be routine. Each page of this new, up and coming magazine “Thrives With Aloha!”
The Sandy Toed Divas
Let’s meet the “Sandy Toed Divas” who are manifesting and co-creating this exciting offering into reality.
Keri Cooper is a photographer who loves to shoot weddings here on Kauai, but who also does priceless portraits and landscape shots too. She was the one I went to to shoot my wedding, and I also hired her to come to my daughter’s ballet class one day to capture some images of her dancing. Every experience with Keri is wonderful. Her attitude is energetic yet at the same time she has the laid-back mannerisms to her that make everyone she comes into contact with relaxed and comfortable. Her eye for photographic design is divine and she brings this magic into Purple Inc. in a way that makes this magazine captivating as soon as you lay eyes on it.
Amanda Baker is a mermaid at heart and I have known this since I met her in a yoga class of mine about 6 years ago. She has an infectious smile and her enthusiasm for life is contagious too. She is a self-proclaimed book worm and has even written a fiction book for preteen girls about life under the sea. Amanda delights in bringing her gifted talent of expression into life through her writing and Purple Inc. is a perfect way that many island people will be able to receive the richness of this place through her poetic words.
Get your free digital copy today, but I am suggesting going for the $6 print copy and stoking out a couple island girls who are determined and committed to creating more beauty in this world, all along the way following their creative hearts! Way to go Keri and Amanda. I honor your sweet beginnings and look forward to all that is to come for Purple Inc.
Get your copy here right now. Sit back, relax and enjoy the good vibes in each colorful page. And if you are free this Saturday night, the launch party to celebrate is at Nani Moon Mead in Kapaa. This is sure to be a night filled with dancing and fun.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that there’s a Wellness/yoga Article in there written by me, “The Wellness Wahine!” Enjoy!
